This is Bob’s journey, trying to understand more about what life is. Bob likes nothing better than to sketch ideas on paper and make models with bits and pieces. This helps him understand what makes the natural world tick. He finds that he can engage more with the science and sketches and cartoons help him appreciate all the wonderful ideas and theories that people have developed and tested that have given scientific explanations of life; what life is, how it works, how it originated and how complex animals and plants have evolved from simple beginnings.
